Rockin’ in the Park
SDPB Education & Outreach developed a hands-on outreach project called Rockin’ in the Park. Approximately 30 students - from the SuAnne Big Crow Boys & Girls Club in Pine Ridge and the Boys & Girls Club of the Black Hills based in Hill City - participated in the project. They learned about Mount Rushmore and National Parks during Ranger visits to their clubs and through a field trip to Mount Rushmore.
