"On average South Dakota?s are paying about 60 cents more for one gallon of regular gas than they were at this time last year. Analysts expect the spike in fuel prices to continue, probably breaking the record high set last summer after Hurricane Katrina. High fuel costs can have devastating effects on local economies. In today's forum we're examining what this means for South Dakota, from the impact on tourism and farming to the preparedness of our state's ethanol industry.
