On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Shane Nordyke, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Nordyke looked at the challenges Barack Obama faces in the first 100 days of his presidency and how they compare with those of past presidents who began their terms in troubled times. Then Paul talked about Governor Rounds proposal to cut all arts funding in South Dakota with Pat Boyd, Executive Director of South Dakotans for the Arts and John Ostrout, Director of State and Regions for the National Endowment for the Arts.
