This edition of Food for Thought features the best of 2008: a selection of three interviews with authors who have South Dakota ties. First, Patrick Hicks, writer-in-residence at Augustana College, talks about his book of poetry, Finding The Gossamer, published by Salmon Poetry of Ireland. Later, South Dakotan, Rebecca Johnson, discusses writng science books for children. And, finally, USD alumnus, Greg Mortenson, talks about his humanitarian work building schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the subject of his book, Three Cups of Tea, published by Penguin.
