S.D.Unemployment, John Updike, Super Bowl

On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Dean Michael Keller of the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota to look at factors behind the soaring South Dakota jobless rate and how the stimulus package passed by the House could improve the economic outlook in the state. Then Paul welcomed writer Ed Allen, an Associate Professor of English at USD, for a rememberance of Pulitzer Prize winning author John Updike who died this week at the age of 76. And finally, NPR Sports Reporter Tom Goldman joined Paul for a preview of this weekend's Super Bowl.
