On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer dedicated the entire program to a discussion of ice hockey in South Dakota and the Sioux Falls Stampede in particular who are marking their 10th anniversary season this year. Paul welcomed their most famous alumnus, NHL All-Star Thomas Vanek of the Buffalo Sabres to the program. He was joined later in the program by Chief Executive Officer and one of the founders of the team Gary Weckworth as well as Stampede head coach Kevin Hartzell whose son Eric is the team's goalie.
