Term Limits, Archeology

Dakota Midday - 02/11/2009

"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed State Senator Ben Nesselhuf to the program to discuss a Senate resolution that would extend the years a lawmaker can serve and lengthen the senate term from two years to four years. The Senate passed that resolution earlier this week and it has gone to the House. Then Paul spoke with Mike Fosha, Assistant State Archeologist to the program to discuss Governor Rounds proposal to eliminate all funding for the Archeological Research Center in Rapid City and what that would mean for the South Dakota. And finally, Erin Bradley, Great Plains Journal Editor in Chief joined Paul to talk about a symposium they are hosting at USD called ""Archeology and the Law: How the Law Has Shaped Cultural Resource Management.""
