Sunshine Week, AIG, Hank Williams

Dakota Midday - 03/18/2009

"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Tina Heraldson, Associated Press Bureau Chief for South Dakota, North Dakota and Nebraska. She talked about Sunshine Week, a week designated nationwide as a time to emphasize better public access to government through open meetings and records. Then Paul spoke with Walker Todd, a former legal officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and a legal and research officer at the Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank, about the AIG bonus situation. And finally, Paul interviewed musician John McNeill, the driving force behind ""A Celebration of Hank Williams"" being performed Saturday Night at Gayville Hall. The show includes all the great classics you know and love, plus ""new"" songs by Hank Williams taken from recently discovered transcriptions of 1951 radio broadcasts."
