Jim Morris, Fargo Flooding, Rob Morast

Dakota Midday - 03/31/2009

"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed former major league pitcher Jim Morris who became the oldest rookie in MLB history at 35 when he appeared as a relief pitcher with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He has since written a book which was made into the film ""The Rookie"" starring Dennis Quaid as Morris. Jim Morris is speaking tonight at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City. Then Paul spoke with Fargo City Commissioner Brad Wimmer about the flood situation there. And finally, Paul spoke with Fargo Forum Features Editor Rob Morast who said being in the city these days is like being ""in a zombie movie without the zombies."" "
