"This edition of Food for Thought features an interview with Greg Mortenson, coauthor of ""Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peaceā€¦One School at a Time,"" published by Penguin Books. Mortenson is director of the non-profit group Central Asia Institute. His organization has helped build more that 50 schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Also on the program, we'll hear from Jennifer Heath, editor of the new book, ""The Veil: Women Writers on Its History, Lore, and Politics,"" published by University of California Press. Jennifer Heath has written seven books of fiction and nonfiction, including The Scimitar and the Veil: Extraordinary Women of Islam. This edition of Food for Thought covers the topics of Middle Eastern history and politics, religious history, and humanitarian work. "
