Political Junkies/Justine Foy

Dakota Midday - 01/05/2009

On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed the regional political junkies, Dave Kranz, columnist for the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader and Denise Ross of the Hog House blog, for the first show of the new year. They previewed the upcoming legislative session and looked back at President Bush's legacy and looked ahead to Barack Obama's inauguration. Then Paul interviewed acclaimed cellist Justine Foy who has worked with Grammy winning artists Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Olivia Newton-John. She also is a truck driver who happened to come to the rescue of the host when he skidded off I-80 in Illinois on his way home for Christmas.
