On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Democratic Senate Leader Scott Heidepriem to the program. He has declared that education funding is his top priority but there may be some challenges in this economic climate. Also, he wants to create a permanent Energy Committee in the state legislature. Later Paul spoke with DeVee Dietz, Director of Civic Education Programs for the Chiesman Center for Democracy on the results of Kids Voting South Dakota released earlier this week.
