Economy, Scrooge, Bobby Vee

Dakota Midday - 12/17/2008

"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer talked about the possibility of good news on the economic front with South Dakota State University Economics Professor John Sondey. He's predicting a ""Solstice Surge"" in which the economy will start to bounce back from its recent downturn. Then Paul spoke with Rapid City financial planner Rick Kahler about a book he co-authored called ""The Financial Wisdom of Ebenezer Scrooge: 5 Principles to Transform Your Relationships with Money."" He says the generous man Scrooge became is a role model for financial health during the recession. And last but certainly not least, Paul welcomed music legend Bobby Vee to the program. Vee is known for such hit songs as ""Take Good Care of My Baby,"" ""Rubber Ball"" and ""The Night has a Thousand Eyes."" He's performing tomorrow night at 7 pm at the Washington Pavillion."
