On today's edition of the program, host Paul Guggenheimer talked about the High School 2025 initiative, a 21st century approach to education to design a student's high school career around his or her career interests. He was joined by Dr. Kelly Duncan, President of the SD Board of Education and Becky Nelson of the South Dakota Department of Education who is one of the team leaders of the High School 2025 Initiative. Next, Paul spoke with Matt McGovern who was the state director of Barack Obama's presidential campaign in South Dakota. He's off to Washington for the inauguration next week. And finally Aberdeen Mayor Mike Levsen talked about how his town is coping with record low temperatures that reached 42 degrees below zero last night.
