On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed University of South Dakota student Michael Dailey who attended the presidential inauguration as a University Presidential Inaugural Scholar. Then Paul spoke with Northern St. Political Science Professor Ken Blanchard who dissected President Obama's Inaugural speech yesterday. Listeners also shared their impressions of the speech. And finally Paul was joined by Christy Menning, Development Director for South Dakota's McCrossan Boys Ranch. She supervised a wagon, a team of draft horses and 16 troubled and at-risk youth as they marched in the inaugural parade yesterday.
