"On toda?s edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer was joined by Fr. Cathal Gallagher, who was on the phone from Brookings. Fr. Gallagher finally got his green card after applying for it nearly two years ago. He came to the United States on a religious-workers permit twelve years ago and recently was nearly deported. Fr. Gallagher has been a very popular figure in the Catholic Church in southeastern South Dakota.
