On today’s Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer interviews Todd and David Hillard, sons of the late Lieutenant Governor Carole Hillard. They will talk about their mother, her public service to South Dakota and the world and the kind of mother she was. Her memorial service is Thursday in Rapid City. Next, attorney Michael DeMersseman, a close friend of Hillard, shares his reminiscences. Finally, in segment three, Guggenheimer interviews Jan Amundson, Senior Vice-president and General Counsel of the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington. Yesterday she gave the prestigious Gunderson Lecture on the University of South Dakota campus.
