On today’s Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer interviews Denise Ross in our regional political junkie segment. Denise will talk about the pre-legislative cracker barrel in Rapid City as well break down the governor’s budget address and look at the presidential campaigns. Next, Ivan Fuller, Augustana College Theatre Professor, who has written an original play based on true stories of the 900-day German siege of Leningrad, Russia during World War II. He held a public staged reading last Friday and is looking to present the play one year from now. And, in the 3rd segment, Paul talkes with Gerald LeMelle, Executive Director of Africa Action, who comes to us from Washington, DC. Today is Human Rights Day and his group is making the point that respect for human rights is a foundation for political and social stability and economic progress in Africa.
