On today’s Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer visitswith Pete Mora from Fresno, California. Mora is a former Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib interrogator who has called out the Bush administration on recent revelations that the CIA destroyed tapes of harsh interrogations. Since leaving the military, Mora has been a leading advocate for human rights regarding the Geneva Code of Conduct. Later in the program, Sioux Falls Argus-Leader columnist Dave Kranz weighs in. He sat in on this morning’s conference call with Senator Tim Johnson and gauges how far the Senator’s recovery has progressed.
