"There are those who take the path less traveled. It could be said that Herb and Jan Conn bushwhacked their way back and forth across that path. The Conns, now in their 8‰s, are pioneer Black Hills rock climbers and spelunkers. They explored more than 60 miles of passageways in Jewel Cave and were the first people to climb many of the towering rock formations around Harney Peak.
