Today, on Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer interviews Wayne Westerberg, close friend of Chris McCandless whose story has been made into a movie called “Into the Wild,” directed by Sean Penn and scheduled to premiere this Friday at the South Dakota Film Festival. Westerberg is played in the movie by Vince Vaughn. Also on the segment is John Kelley, Exec. Producer of the movie. During Segment two, guests Carolyn and Michael Linn join Paul to discuss “Imprint,” a movie they wrote, directed and produced. The movie, a suspense thriller, is yet another regionally produced entry in the South Dakota Film Festival.
