"According to the 2000 census, South Dakota has more than 100,000 residents age 65 and older, making the State eighth in the nation for oldest population. By 2010 a third of the state's population will be 50+, and by 2025, an estimated 42% of South Dakota's population will be older than 50.In today's Forum we're learning how to prevent dementia and hearing about programs available for you to stay mentally, emotionally and physically fit in your golden years.
