On today’s Forum we’re getting a preview of the upcoming dedication of the George and Eleanor McGovern Library and Leadership Center at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell. George McGovern is a native South Dakotan, a former Presidential candidate and congressman as well as an alumnus and former faculty at DWU. Charles Michael Ray speaks with Peter Yarrow of the legendary folk group Peter, Paul, and Mary who will be performing at the grand opening of the library. We’ll learn about the folk group’s connection to George McGovern and about the role of music in politics. After that Pat Mack will take us on a sneak peek tour of the library with George McGovern himself.
