Books that focus on the Great Plains are the focus of this week's show. We'll hear about a new collection of Christmas stories called Christmas on the Great Plains, followed by a new book called The Children's Blizzard taht weaves the personal stories and science of the Great Blizzard of 1888 and we end today's show with the new book Triple Crown Winner which tells the story of one of the world's greatest jockeys, and South Dakota native, Earl Sande.
