AG Update

Dakota Midday - 05/18/2004

Three experts will give us their understanding and expertise regarding the latest trends and developments in agriculture in the state. Prices are high, but are producers able to reap the benefits? Or, are their profits being eaten away because they, too, are paying high prices for feed and fuel? Some areas of the state are now in severe drought. What will happen if this trend continues? How will recent freezes and frosts affect crop development? From the latest on calving and lambing, to planting progress for small grains and row crops, to range and pasture conditions, soil and weather information, we'll get the overview from Secretary Larry Gabriel, the most recent Crop Weather Report from Carter Anderson and the economic forecast from Matt Diersen.
