Organizations nationwide including South Dakota Rural Enterprise, Inc. have combined efforts with a national group to train “plenty” of leaders in rural communities. SDREI works to stimulate economic viability in the state’s communities and provide leadership resources. And the latest program started by SDREI called Leadership Plenty, graduated its first round of participants from Parkston and Custer earlier this year. Beth Davis, President of SDREI and a LeadershipPlenty Facilitator will join Forum host Stephanie Rissler to discuss the leadership training program which strives to create economically viabile communities. Charyl Fields was a Community Encourager in Parkston and will be a guest on Forum to discuss her role in the program of 20 participants.
