Ash Borer, Benjamin Davis, William Harris

Dakota Midday - 05/27/2009

On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer was joined by Coe Foss, Forestry Division of the South Dakota Dept. of Agriculture and Duane Stall, City Forester for Sioux Falls. They are taking measures to save trees from the Emerald Ash Borer. Then Paul spoke with University of Toledo College of Law professor Benjamin Davis who led the effort to pass the 2006 American Society of Law Centennial Resolution on the laws of war and detainee treatment. Davis teaches public international law and is an authority on the U.S. interrogation techniques that were recently debated by President Obama and former Vice-President Dick Cheney. And finally Paul interviewed William Harris, a nutritional biochemist and Sanford Health Researcher who's hoping to prove a connection between eating fish and avoiding Alzheimer's disease.
