Changing Media, Smoking Ban

"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Victor Pickard, Senior Research Fellow with the media reform group ""Free Press"" and Ted Glasser, Professor of Communications at Stanford University for a discussion of the changing media and the current state of journalism. Then Paul interviewed Larry Mann, coordinator of the petition drive to prevent the controversial state wide smoking ban from taking effect on July 1st and let voters decide the issue in November, 2010. Also joining the conversation was Dr. Cynthia Weaver, president of the South Dakota State Medical Association who is in favor of the law that would ban smoking in bars and restaurants."
