Franken Wins, Alaska Climate Change, Orlando Chamber Soloists

Dakota Midday - 07/01/2009

On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Bob Collins of Minnesota Public Radio's Newscut blog to talk about the long awaited conclusion of the historic Franken/Coleman Senate race. Then Paul spoke with SDPB reporter Charles Michael Ray who has spent a couple of weeks in Northern Alaska working with scientists who are doing cutting edge research on the potential impact of climate change. And finally, Paul interviewed Orlando Chamber Soloists who are taking up residence at the Homestake Opera House in Lead this month and doing, among other things, a Young Composer's Forum.
