Open Records, Political Junkies, Smoking Ban

Dakota Midday - 07/06/2009

On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed David Bordewyk of the South Dakota Newspaper Association to the program. He gives his insights into the new open records law that has just taken effect and what it means for South Dakota. Then Paul is joined by Regional Political Junkie Kevin Woster who talks, among other things about Sarah Palin's resignation as Governor of Alaska and the death of Robert McNamara. And finally, Paul interviewed Jennifer Stalley, South Dakota Government Relations for the American Cancer Society, about the strategy behind challenging the validity of petitions turned in to put the expanded smoking ban to November, 2010 vote.
