"On today's edition of Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer welcomed Bruce Blake, past president of the Minnehaha County Historical Society. He is an authority on the activities of the Dillinger gang in South Dakota in 1934 and did some consulting work for the producers of the movie ""Public Enemies."" Then Paul interviewed Dan O'Brien, author of ""Buffalo for the Broken Heart,"" the 2009 One-Book South Dakota program selection. And finally Paul spoke with Tracia Hogue, organizer of the ""Whip to White"" 40th anniversary observance this weekend and Dan Simpson, former managing editor of the ""Collegian,"" SDSU's student paper, who was there in 1969."
