Afghanistan, NASA Astrophysicist Ted Gull, new book: "Twisted Tree"

On 10/1/09, Lieutenant Colonel Damian Donahoe, an Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of South Dakota and Tim Schorn, Associate Professor of Political Science at USD join host Paul Guggenheimer for a discussion of America at a crossroads about what the future course in Afghanistan should be. Then Paul interviews NASA Astrophysicist Ted Gull, an Edgemont native who does research with multiple ground-based and space telescopes, working with astronomers around the world. He's giving a presentation tonight at the Journey Museum in Rapid City. And finally, a "Food for Thought" feature with Julia Monczunski visiting the South Dakota State Historical Society Press in Pierre and talking to author Kent Myers whose new book is called "Twisted Tree."
