Midday welcomes the following guests: Scott Munsterman, State Rep. Brian Dreyer, and Elizabeth Whealy.

Dakota Midday - 11/03/2009

This is Dakota Midday for Tuesday, November 3 - Election Day.

This Election Day is not nearly as big as last year, but important, none the less. However, some candidates have their sites set on next year, especially those who are running for Governor in South Dakota. One of them is former Brookings Mayor, Scott Munsterman. Munsterman says he's disappointed with state government, and that synergy between state and local government is not what it should be. On today's edition of Dakota Midday, Scott Munsterman is host Paul Guggenheimer's guest, and he'll discuss his ideas for improving the economy in South Dakota. Also today, while some are seeking office, one state legislator is giving up his house seat. Rapid City State Representative, Brian Dreyer, is resigning from the legislature pending his deployment with the National Guard to Afghanistan. He shares his compelling with Paul. Finally, "Callie", the rare Amur tiger cub, born this summer at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls is growing stronger every day. Zoo President, Elizabeth Whaley, gives us an update on "Callie's" health. This and more on today's edition of Dakota Midday.
