Dakota Midday - 11/10/2009

On 11/10/09, Kirk Bloodsworth, the first death row prisoner in the United States to be acquitted and exonerated because of postconviction DNA testing, is interviewed by host Paul Guggenheimer. Bloodsworth spent eight years in prison, on death row, until the science of DNA ultimately proved he was innocent. Then Paul visits with Kyle Eastwood, a jazz bassist who is kicking off the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society's concert series this Friday. He also composes music for his father Clint Eastwood's movies. And finally, today is the 40th anniversary of the airing of the first episode of Sesame Street.  Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, and Bob McGrath drop in as special guests on Dakota Midday to celebrate the occasion.
