On 1/5/10, host Paul Guggenheimer interviews Valerian Three Irons, a Mandan tribal member and diversity and service learning associate at South Dakota State University, about his recent trip to Turkey. Then Paul talks with Keith Moore, Diversity Director at the University of South Dakota on the state's "Race to the Top" proposal featuring an unprecedented effort to foster higher academic achievement among the state's American Indian students. And finally, Paul is joined by Briar Cliff University Theatre Professor Richard Poole who is directing Briar Cliff University's production of Mark Twain's "Diary of Adam and Eve," a warm, witty look at the creation of humanity.
