Immigrant denied entrance to Police Academy, USD Law student with family in Haiti

On 2/3/10, host Paul Guggenheimer talks with Irish immigrant Jimmy Murphy, a former police officer with the Alcester police department. He was denied admittance to the SD police academy because he is not a U.S. citizen. Joining the conversation is Alcester police chief Jim Morey and Republican State Representative Dan Lederman, who has taken up the cause in support of Murphy. Then Paul speaks with USD Law student, Martine Jeanty who is of Haitian descent and has many family members that were affected by the earthquake. She  talks about what she is doing around campus to raise money for the victims.
