Pros and Cons of Year Round Schooling, Professor Monitoring Iceland Volcano

Today on Dakota Midday, host Paul Guggenheimer speaks with Superintendent of Harrisburg Schools, Jim Holbeck, who is proposing the idea of year round schooling. Also, joining the conversation is Marcia Morrison, Associate Professor in the University of South Dakota School of Education who has studied the pros and cons of this idea.

Then Jihong Cole-Dai, Professor of Chemistry at South Dakota State University, has been monitoring the volcano in Iceland and says there is a bigger volcano 10 miles away. They are worried the latest explosion could trigger this other volcano.
