Col. Richard Klass, Political Junkies and "The Murdered Family"

Dakota Midday - 05/03/2010

Colonel Richard Klass (USAF, ret.) will be presenting information tonight in Sioux City, Iowa, on the ratification of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty between the United States and Russia and the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.  Klass served as a White House Fellow in the Nixon Administration and in the Pentagon in the Carter Administration where he dealt with strategic arms control issues.

The Regional Political Junkies, Kevin Woster of the Rapid City Journal and Jon Hunter of the Madison Daily Leader, talk about the controversy over KOTA-TV's Shad Olson.  Olson spoke at a Tea Party rally in Rapid City on April 15th.  The news anchor is still employed by KOTA but he has been taken off the air.

Paul Guggenheimer also visits with author Vern Keel who has written a book that uses historical fiction to tell the true story of the brutal murders of a North Dakota farm family in April, 1920.  The book is called "The Murdered Family."
