Tim Johnson, Shad Olson, and the Political Junkies

Dakota Midday - 05/17/2010

Today's edition of Dakota Midday begins with a conversation between Paul Guggenheimer and South Dakota U.S. Senator Tim Johnson. Johnson talks about Wall Street reform, oil drilling and health care reform.

Paul then talks with Shad Olson. Olson was anchorman at KOTA in Rapid City until he spoke at a local Tea Party rally and was taken off the air. He talks about his activism and his new professional endeavors, including becoming a consultant for gubernatorial candidate Gordon Howie.

And in the final segment of today's show Paul welcomes regional Political Junkies Jon Hunter, publisher of the Madison Daily Leader, and Kevin Woster, reporter for the Rapid City Journal. They react to Olson's comments as well as the latest political happenings.
