Paul Guggenheimer talks with Dr. Robin Carter Visscher about PTSD and the showing of the PBS documentary "This Emotional Life" at the VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Visscher also discusses PTSD's history, what we're learning about the disorder and how we're treating it.
Paul also brings Sherri Rodgers-Conti into the conversation. She's the Director of Education and Outreach Services for SDPB. SDPB is sponsoring the free screenings of "This Emotional Life" and the discussions on PTSD.
And finally, Paul makes a call to England and talks with Dan Edge, the producer of the Frontline documentary "The Wounded Platoon." Edge tells about the ins and outs of the process, as well as the emotion he tried to create and connect with the audience.
