Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants, Metropolitan Stadium, Memorial Day Travel

Dakota Midday - 05/27/2010

Today Paul Guggenheimer talks with Gary Weckwerth, President and CEO of the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants. Weckwerth talks about the team's terrific start to the season, as well as fan reaction to the name change.

Next, Paul talks with Lee Otis. He has the baseball from the last game ever played at Met Stadium in Minneapolis. Tonight the Minnesota Twins are letting him throw the opening pitch in exchange for that piece of history.

Finally, Paul discusses holiday travel with Mark Madeja, spokesman for AAA South Dakota. He talks about this year's increase in Memorial Day weekend travel.
