The Barefoot Bandit, Political Junkies, and Soccer Participation in SD

On this edition of Dakota Midday, Paul Guggenheimer talks with Jerry Hisek, Yankton's assistant chief of police. He talks about Yankton's run-in with the "Barefoot Bandit" and also his capture.  

Next, the political junkies discuss the latest Rasmussen polls. Kevin Woster, columnist and reporter for the Rapid City Journal, and Seth Tupper, editor of the Mitchell Daily Republic, discuss what the polls mean for the campaigns.

Finally, Jeff Boldt has started a soccer association in Madison. He discusses how he is trying to promote the sport among kids. Also, Steve Cogley, director of membership and expansion for the South Dakota Soccer Association, talks about the growth of soccer participation in the state.
