Anniversary of the Atomic Bomb, Oscar Micheaux Film Festival, the band Elephant Revival

This week marks the 65th anniversary of the world's first atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. University of South Dakota History Professor Kurt Hackemer addresses some of the unanswered questions including whether the U.S. was sending a message to the Soviets.

Next, Jerry Wilske, director of the Oscar Micheaux Center in Gregory, talks about the unveiling of a stamp honoring the black filmmaker during the week's four-day film and book festival.

Paul Guggenheimer talks with fiddle player Bridget Law and banjo player Sage Cook about their neo acoustic folk string band Elephant Revival. They will be headlining at this weekend's Sioux River Folk Festival.
