Helping Hands for Haiti, Sioux Falls Diversity Conference, the First Winter Storm

SDPB's Paul Guggenheimer talks with Dave Oswald, of Helping Hands for Haiti. It is a Sioux Falls based organization dealing first hand with the cholera outbreak in the country. He talks about their work and the continued lack of clean water and other hardships in Haiti.

Terri Carlson is the director of the Sioux Falls chapter of Parents, Family & Friends of Lesbians and Gays. The group is participating in a Diversity Conference in Sioux Falls. Carlson works with area churches to be more accepting of GLBT young adults in the wake of recent suicides across the country.

And, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service Susan Sanders talks about the first winter storm headed for the state.
