Budget Address, Pearl Harbor Day and U.S. in Afghanistan

Host Paul Guggenheimer welcomes SDPB News Director Cara Hetland for a preview of today's budget address by Governor Mike Rounds.

Two World War II veterans and Pearl Harbor survivors also appear on today's program.  Steve Warren and Stan Lieberman talk about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor 69 years ago today which marked the beginning of U.S. involvement in World War II.

Associate Professor Tim Schorn and Assistant Professor Eric Jepsen of the University of South Dakota Political Science Department talk about U.S. involvement in Afghanistan and whether the Obama Administration can meet its goal of pulling U.S. forces out in July.  U.S. forces have now been there for just over 9 years.
