Flooding, Satellite Imagery, and Japan

SDPB's Jackelyn Severin talks about the flooding situation and what the governor had to say in Sioux Falls this morning. Also, Mark T. Anderson, director of the USGS's South Dakota Water Science Center, discusses how they monitor water flow and operate flood alert gauges.

Brenda Jones is the Disaster Response Coordinator with the USGS EROS center. She talks about using satellite imagery to help quake ravaged Japan.

And, Augustana Graduate Kimberly Johnson lives and works in Japan. She tells what she experienced on the day the earthquake hit and conditions in her area.
