Phyllis Schlafly, Debt Settlement Regulations, Red Cross Helps Japan

Dakota Midday - 03/17/2011

SDPB's Paul Guggenheimer talks with conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly. Her latest book is "The Flipside of Feminism: What Conservative Women Know and Men Can't Say." She explains the premise of the book and defends what her critics see as a contradiction between her advocacy against the Equal Rights Amendment and her role as a working professional.

Terry Mills is with Consumer Credit Counseling of the Black Hills, a non-profit organization that helps people pay off debt and manage finances. He explains how new federal regulations have changed the way debt settlement companies collect their fees.

American Red Cross Emergency Services Director Sam Hill talks about how they are assisting Japan's earthquake and tsunami survivors.
