Schools and Inflation, "Maxims, Monarchy and Sir Thomas More," and "A Slight Discomfort"

Brian Aust is the director of communications for the Associated School Boards of South Dakota. He explains the organization's analysis that recent cuts to k-12 education have left the state's public schools $54 million short of the level needed to keep up with inflation.

Actor Graham Thatcher talks about the one-man play "Maxims, Monarchy and Sir Thomas More." He portrays Sir Thomas More, the English Chancellor and statesman who was beheaded by King Henry VIII. The play is being shown as part of Law Day.

Also, Jeff Metcalf is the author of "A Slight Discomfort." It is a play about his experience with prostate cancer. He talks about the play along with his experience.
