SDPB Videographer/Editor Eka John talks about his trip to Sudan. Southern Sudan achieved independence and will become the world's newest country in July. John was asked to help set up a new government.
Mike McGowan is a Broadway star and Sioux Falls native. He's performing with the South Dakota Symphony orchestra this weekend and will sing favorite tunes from Music Man, West Side Story, and Fiddler on the Roof. He's currently appearing on Broadway as Frank in "Priscilla Queen of the Desert."
Also, folk singer/songwriters Jami Lynn and Scott Grote are performing at a benefit concert at the Dahl Arts Center. It is to help fund the Americana Music Festival coming up in September. They talk about the concert and perform live on the show.
