Flood Update, "Come Into the Water," and Reshaping Local Democracies

Nathan Sanderson, advisor to the governor, is in Dakota Dunes monitoring the flood situation. He gives a brief update on the area.

Merlyn Magner is the author of "Come Into the Water, a survivor's story." It tells her story of miraculously surviving the 1972 Rapid City flood which took the lives of her mother, father and brother, and the emotional issues she has wrestled with since.

Lee Rainie is the director of the Pew Internet and American Life Project. He talks about the presentation he is giving tonight at the Rapid City Public Library. The presentation focuses on how the internet is reshaping local democracies and the role of libraries and local governments in supporting a well-informed citizenry.
